I have been teaching yoga for the past five years and remain a lifelong student of this ancient practice.
My relationship with movement began in early childhood, when I started learning Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form. In my early twenties, my love for movement led me to study contemporary dance for two years at Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts in Bangalore. It was there, as part of my movement studies, that I was introduced to yoga for the first time.
What began as another way of exploring movement gradually became something much deeper. As I experienced the physical benefits of yoga, I also began to notice a growing sense of self-awareness, creativity, and an inner feeling of being at home in my body. Yoga slowly became a strong anchor in my creative life — not simply a physical practice, but a way of listening, observing, and connecting more deeply with myself.
With a growing sense of curiosity, I stepped into my first yoga teacher training at Sivananda Kutir, Uttarkashi, where I began to explore yoga beyond asana. My teachers encouraged me to share the practice with others and inspired me to remain curious and continue learning. Over the years, teaching and practicing yoga have deepened my understanding of mindfulness and presence, transforming the way I approach not only movement, but everyday life.
My approach is rooted in a love for movement, curiosity, presence and self-reflection. I invite you to explore your inner landscape with patience, to move in ways that feel intuitive and supportive, and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that often go unheard. For me, yoga is an ongoing practice of coming home — to the body, to the breath, and to ourselves.
